Poultry Project:   The number of birds in the poultry project appears to have stabilized at 1,937 with no losses incurred during the month of October.  The birds are growing at a steady and healthy pace and we expect them to begin laying eggs in November 2007.  WCFJC is in the process of identifying potential customers who will purchase eggs directly from WCFJC beneficiaries without the “assistance” of middlemen. 

We expect monthly income (before expenses) from this project to average $2,100.
