Goat Program:
The Women’s Center for Job Creation Dairy Goat Breeding Center in Nabukosi, Butagaya was officially opened on Saturday September 19th, 2009. WCFJC wishes to express its gratitude to the MoneyGram Global Giving Program (MN, USA) for the US$ 10,000 grant that funded construction, the purchase of five 100% exotic she-goats and one 100% exotic he-goat as well as one year’s salary for an Animal Specialist to look after the goats.
This month, WCFJC hired two additional field members of staff – an Animal Specialist for the Breeding Center and an additional Field Officer to help monitor the growing number of beneficiaries.
