August was an incredibly busy month! The Goat Training Course is in it’s 12th week and goat sheds are beginning to sprout throughout the neighborhood.

Group members with a strong attendance and participation record will qualify to receive 1 or 2 goats each. In return, once their goats deliver offspring, beneficiaries will give 2 kid goats to WCFJC for distribution to future program beneficiaries.

Yes – men come to class too! Many of the women in this area are illiterate so they invite literate members of their families to come and take notes on their behalf!
