August was an incredibly busy month! The Goat Training Course is in it’s 12th week and goat sheds are beginning to sprout throughout the neighborhood.

Group members with a strong attendance and participation record will qualify to receive 1 or 2 goats each. In return, once their goats deliver offspring, beneficiaries will give 2 kid goats to WCFJC for distribution to future program beneficiaries.

                                                men come to class too! Many of the women in this
                                                area are illiterate so they invite literate members of their
                                                families to come and take notes on their behalf! Some
                                                of the men do however belong to the community group we
                                                are working with.
