October 11th 2006 was Graduation Day. 23 WCFJC beneficiaries (16 women and 7 men) graduated from WCFJC’s first Goat Management under Zero-grazing class. Of this number, the ten graduates with the highest attendance and test scores (6 women and 4 men) will each receive a dairy she-goat. One of these graduates will also be assigned as “he-goat caretaker”.

On November 3rd, the graduates who have been allocated goats will visit the Joy Children Center, a goat rearing station in another part of Uganda from which the goats will be purchased. After touring the station and attending a mini-workshop, the graduates will collect their assigned goats.
